Smart Spaces to provide smart technology at 720,000 sq ft Republic campus in East London

Smart technology to enable contactless access at next-generation office campus

London, 1 December 2020 – Smart Spaces, the leading smart building operating system, has been appointed to smart enable, and further improve occupier engagement, building efficiencies and wellbeing, at Republic, the 720,000 sq ft mixed-use next-generation office campus at East India Dock, London, owned by Trilogy Real Estate LLP and LaSalle Investment Management.

Smart Spaces will install its smart visitor management system at the Import and Export buildings. The system offers contactless, safe entry via a user’s smartphone with a generated QR code for visitors, to minimise touchpoints into and out of the office, which is a key factor in a post-COVID landscape.
The new occupier engagement app is also to be rolled out across the campus which serves to foster a workplace community and enhance wellbeing, a core component for attracting and retaining the talent of the future. The key features include concierge, loyalty, offers and events, with social wall and chat functions. The app also enables continued communication between the landlord and occupiers in and out of campus, enabling users of the app to have the most up to date operational information to hand at all times to make their visit as safe as possible and understand how their actions and activities can help support Republic’s sustainable agenda.
